Product Description:

Medical-grade Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) tubing is extruded/dip-coated from high-purity PTFE resin. Featuring ultra-lubricious inner walls, exceptional chemical inertness, and compliance with ISO 10993 and USP Class VI biocompatibility standards, it serves as a core material for interventional devices, fluid transfer systems, and implantable medical applications.

Features:

Ultra-Low Friction: The lowest coefficient of friction (0.04-0.05) among solid materials minimizes insertion resistance and tissue irritation, ideal for neurovascular and cardiovascular interventions.
Superior Chemical Resistance: Resistant to strong acids, alkalis, organic solvents, and contrast media, preventing drug adsorption or material degradation for precise fluid delivery.
Broad Temperature Stability: Operates reliably from -200°C to 260°C, compatible with autoclave, ethylene oxide (EO), and gamma radiation sterilization.
Precision Tolerances: Ultra-thin wall thickness (down to 7.62μm) with inner diameter tolerance of ±0.0003 inches, suitable for microcatheters and guidewire sheaths.
Biocompatibility: Physiologically inert with minimal thrombogenicity and no adverse tissue reactions, meeting short-term contact and implantable medical device standards.
